That’s right. Verizon FiOS will help kick off football season by producing and broadcasting the first NFL game in 3D on television, featuring the Sept. 2 preseason match-up between the New York Giants and the New England Patriots.
Produced by FiOS1, Verizon’s hyper-local news channel, the 3D game will air on channel 834 in the New York City area, including Long Island and Westchester and Rockland counties; Mercer County, N.J and the northern part of the state; Massachusetts; and Rhode Island. Coverage begins 15 minutes before game time at 6:45 p.m., with Verizon FiOS1 pre-game, half-time and post-game shows – all in 3D.
As with the July Yankees-Mariners games we aired in 3D, customers will need a 3D TV set, 3D glasses and a high-definition set-top box to view the broadcast. Those who qualify can watch a veteran on-air broadcast team that includes play-by-play announcer Spero Dedes, analyst Howard Cross and sideline reporter Kimberly Jones.
As readers of the At Home blog know, this is our third major 3D initiative this summer, following the July MLB games and the introduction of 3D programming on VOD from WealthTV. Keep a look out here for more 3D news to come, and let us know if you’re able to check out the Sept. 2 broadcast

I will admit to being a bit confused by your post. Aside from the obvious difference of comparing movie screen 3D to your TV set at home, I found myself wondering if you were trying to use the Disney DIGITAL 3D glasses to watch STANDARD 3D DVDs?? Of course, the DIGITAL 3D glasses will only work with DIGITAL 3D movies. Polar Express and Journey to the Centre of the Earth are NOT DIGITAL 3D movies, in the theatre or on DVD. My copy of JttCotE works rather well with the provided red and green 3D glasses. Sure, it's not the same as the experience on a full cinema sized screen, anyone who thought it would be is an idiot. Same for the digital 3D glasses, I am sure they provide an adequate viewing experience with the proper digital 3D DVDs. Obviously you can't expect one technology to work with the other, they are completely different.
it's a complement or a snide remark depending on his point of view.
1) jesus would come back simply because you're so freakin hot
