What is Fiber Optics? Fiber Optics is a new technology being used to revolutionize Internet connection speeds, Cable TV delivery and Long-Distance phone calls. It’s a really cool technology that uses little strands of cable as thin as your hair to enable the long distance transmission of data in light signals, and it’s probably used in more ways than you think.
